Stefanie at UniversalHi everyone...Wow! what a totally awesome past month I had on set filming "Beethoven: The Reel Story" at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. I play Katie, the secret crush of "Billy" (played by Moises Aries from Hannah Montana).

I just wrapped filming and I've been real busy with lots more auditions, several feature films and a television series. I just began working on an original pop song which I'm really excited about too. Oh, and my commercial for My Little Pony is now playing... Talk to you soon!

Disney StudiosFall/Winter 2007: I spent the fall and winter months in Los Angeles, auditioning for some wonderful movies and guest roles.  Entering the gates of the Disney Studios was  (as my big brother says) “s-w-e-e-t”, where I auditioned for a new animated series appearing on Disney Playhouse in fall of 2008 called Special Agent Oso.   In the lobby at Disney they have all the original costumes from High School Musical I and II on view…. I booked the role of Brianna and Emma and I had a blast reading the role during taping.  Actor, Sean Astin will be playing Special Agent Oso.    It was so cool to see the buildings….. on one there are big figures of the seven dwarfs who look like their holding up the roof and the bushes are trimmed to look like Mickey!!

Disney StudiosI spent many weeks  auditioning and was called back three times for the role in  Nickelodeon’s new animated series based on the book series, “Olivia the Pig” and am waiting to hear back.  Just when I returned back home to Florida for Thanksgiving I also got called back to fly back to L.A.  and read again for “Not Forgotten” a psychological thriller being directed by Dror Soref.  The part ultimately went to another talented actress, but I was fortunate to make it to the final few girls being considered….And I also booked a national Hasbro commercial for My Little Pony in case you happen to catch a glimpse of it on t.v…..Back in Florida for the holidays, I auditioned and being considered for a feature film which we’re keeping our fingers crossed on in 2008!  More to come next month…..!.

Summer 2007: I definitely wasn’t bored this summer….I spent several weeks in California where I performed at the Los Angeles Marriott and had the opportunity to meet with talent agents and managers.Summer 2007: I definitely wasn’t bored this summer. I spent several weeks in California where I performed at the Los Angeles Marriott and had the opportunity to meet with talent agents and managers. I had a great meeting at Disney Casting and also at Nickelodeon.

Steffanie with Arielle Kebbel

Oh, I also got to meet Arielle Kebbel (Aquamarine and John Tucker Must Die) and help her with her horse!

New York AuditionsNext, a quick flight to New York took me to the Annie National Tour open auditions where I made it through two days of cuts (starting with about 400 girls) and into the 5 five finalists for the part of Annie.

The Sound of MusicAdditionally, the hills were alive in Orlando where I performed for a six-week run of The Sound of Music in the part of Marta. I volunteered at “Give the Kids the World “which is an organization for children with life-threatening illnesses. (www.gktw.org).

Stefanie at Disney-MGM StudiosA little fun was thrown in when we traveled for a day at Disney-MGM Studios as an official appearance as Miss American Sweetheart 2007 and then I was able to travel to Kennedy Space Center and have lunch with an astronaut. (Oh, and I got to try out the amazing new ride “Shuttle Launch Experience”).

Stefanie Scoot in Supermodels Sept/Oct 2007 MagazineLast, but not least, I performed at the Hilton at Disney World and then was happy to see my full page article in Supermodel Magazine which just came out in the fall 2007 edition…page 83!

Sponge BobMay…..What a month. I performed at 3 more hotels (Hilton, Marriott and Ramada) and I did a shoot for Nick Hotels. I got to get slimed with 400 gallons of slime (2 times in a row I might add)...It was totally, without a doubt, absolutely the best!

Clewiston InnApril…I performed (singing) at four hotels this month. The audience really seems to really like my new song “A Change in Me”. We’ve traveled so much this month sometimes I forget where I was! We judge the hotel on how comfortable the bed is! (We love the heavenly beds®). A live musical theatre fan I had fun seeing Guys and Dolls.

Sound of MusicThe Best news….I just got a call from the Director of Sound of Music from the Orlando Starlight Dinner Theatre www.StarlightOrlando.com. They offered me the part of Marta for the 6-week run. I said, hmmm I’ll have to think about it….NOT! I said yes without hesitation. My first paid theatrical roll. (Why does my teenage brother say it’s hard to find a job – I told him I can do it and I just turned 10!)

American Cancer Societies RelayMarch….Time’s been flying. I volunteered at American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and I stayed overnight in a tent with my other state queens. We raised money for cancer. It was fun but also a little sad. I got to see Thoroughly Modern Mille, go to four dance competitions (my feet hurt but we won) and practiced singing for my recording demo. I auditioned for Sound of Music. I got a call back and we danced and sang for 3 hours. I loved it…I hope they love me.

Singing NYCFebruary… competed in a national coed talent competition. I was tied for 1st place with two opera singers who are 18 and 23! I was so surprised since I just turned 10! I sang NYC (one of my favorite cities) and “A Change in Me”

nn January….We got to fly to Las Vegas for the Miss America 2007 pageant!  I saw Nathan Burton’s Magic Show, they introduced me in the audience and the show was so cool and very funny.  I had my picture taken with just about every Miss America contestant or former contestant including Lee Meriwether (Miss America 1955). Oh, I had my picture taken with a showgirl too! (My dad liked that photo…) The reporter from Florida Today came to visit and interview me.  I signed an autograph for her too.

Nationals December…I just received a letter showing all the places I get to travel to this year.  It’s going to be fabuloso! (Although it doesn’t list Rome or Paris….boo-hoo)

ParadeDecember 9th….I was in my first official parade.  Do you have any idea how hard it is to wave and smile for 3 hours??  I had no idea- Really! (And it was freezing – ok- maybe not freezing ‘cause I live in Florida but maybe 55 with lots of wind?)
